2025 UROP Mentoring Grant Information Session

November 22, 11:00am - 12:00pm
Mānoa Campus, Virtual Add to Calendar

The Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP) in the Office of the Vice Provost for Research & Scholarship (OVPRS) is pleased to be holding an information session about the 2025 Mentoring Grant for Summer Undergraduate Research and Creative Work. The information session will be held over Zoom on Friday, November 22 at 11 a.m., and will cover topics such as eligibility guidelines, the grantmaking process, and tips for composing a successful application. The session will be recorded and shared with all registrants. Sign up here to attend and receive the recording.

UROP's Mentoring Grant provides awards of up to $10,000 each directly to eligible mentors of UHM undergraduate students conducting research and creative work projects in Summer 2025. Funds are intended to increase and directly support student participation in such opportunities. Proposals will be accepted from November 18, 2024 until January 17, 2025. UROP encourages applications from all disciplines and is particularly interested in receiving applications from non-STEM fields and from early-career (tenure-track, non-tenured) mentors in any discipline.
