Join the Activities Council in celebrating the Lunar New Year! We've partnered with the Center for Chinese Studies UHM to bring you a special Lunar New Year event on February 9th, 2024, from 11 am to 1 pm at the Campus Center Courtyard. Experience the vibrant lion dance and, for UH Manoa students, receive free giveaway items, sesame balls and a $2 off Ding Tea coupon*. Lion dances are performed to bring good fortune and chase away bad spirits. Feeding a lion dancer with $1 bills is believed to bring good luck, and to make this tradition accessible, we'll be providing red envelopes for everyone to contribute! *(Please provide a valid UHM, while supplies last)
