Join us to celebrate the exhibition, "7 Degrees North – The Arts of Micronesia," through a roundtable discussion with Micronesian artists. The exhibit originally debuted at the Downtown Art Center in Honolulu’s Chinatown in June 2023 and is on view in Hamilton Library’s Bridge Gallery from August 21 - December 1, 2023 (revised end date). The roundtable discussion, "Micronesian Voices through Art" will feature co-curators Floyd Takeuchi and Margo Vitarelli in conversation with artists Lissette Yamase, Anthon Watson, Eric Cano, and Kalany Omengar. Light refreshments will follow. We are grateful to our cosponsors including MCHACE, Center for Pacific Island Studies, Downtown Art Center, UHM Library Pacific Collection, East West Center Arts Program, and the EWC Pacific Islands Development Program.
