The Glades: Transgender Talk Story with Legendary Performer Brandy Lee

Brandy Lee and other legendary drag artists will share their stories as performers at the Glades nightclub in Honolulu's Chinatown in the 1960's. Their story is one of overcoming widespread discrimination with resistance, finesse, power and sisterhood.

There will be a screening of the work-in-progress Glades Project documentary by filmmaker Connie Florez followed by an engaging talk story with Brandy Lee and others, facilitated by Sami Akuna, aka Cocoa Chandelier.
