October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. The safety and well-being of all campus community members continues to be of tantamount importance. Unfortunately, COVID-19 has exacerbated many of the existing inequalities present in society. In order to provide additional skills, resources and advocacy, the University of Hawaii Campus Climate Committee will present “Addressing Domestic Violence in Higher Education: Our Kuleana,” a comprehensive training on domestic violence for University of Hawaii at Manoa faculty and staff. This training will include a call to action, inviting participants to join a statewide campaign to end domestic violence in Hawaii.
