During the next YouTube Watch Party you will have the opportunity to talk directly to the researchers featured in the Voice of the Sea television show! This episode of Voice of the Sea highlights EXPORTS (EXport Processes in the Ocean from Remote Sensing), an epic research project funded by NASA and the National Science Foundation to study the ocean’s carbon cycle.
The aim of the research is to understand how carbon moves from the atmosphere to the deep ocean in order to more accurately predict future climate conditions. SOEST professor Brian Popp and his graduate student Connor Shea are featured.
