Establishing a Culturally Responsive Classroom

This event is offered with new Manoa faculty in mind to provide guidance in using culturally responsive techniques in the classroom and support for engaging with the community. All faculty are welcomed to attend.
A panel of diverse Manoa faculty will:
- share their successes and challenges in teaching Manoa's unique student population.
- offer instructional strategies for faculty in designing courses.
- share the value of making connections in the local community and classroom.
Coffee and tea will be provided. Please feel free to bring lunch.
