October 2, 12:00pm - 1:30pm
Mānoa Campus, Moore Hall, Room 109, University of Hawai‘i at Manoa
Russell Leu is a senior partner at Kingsfield Law, specializing in foreign direct invest-
ments. He is also a Professor of Law at the prestigious Beijing Foreign Studies University
and an Adjunct Professor at the Temple University Beasley School of Law. He will be
in Honolulu on a brief visit from Beijing, and will comment from an “on-the-ground”
perspective: How U.S.-China tensions have affected daily life in China’s capitol, what
various sectors of the Chinese population think about the unrelenting cycle of “breaking
news,” and what impact all of this has on Hawai’i.
