Hathi Trust: Finding and Using Digital Resources

This hands-on workshop will introduce Hathi Trust, large-scale collaborative repository of digital content from over 100 research libraries, the Google Books project, and the Internet Archive. The collection includes over 6 million items available to download as PDFs or text documents. HathiTrust can be accessed at http://www.hathitrust.org Presented by Brian Richardson and David Gustavsen Hamilton Library, Business, Humanities and Social Sciences Reference Topics will include: - Overview of HathiTrust - Search strategies - filters - searching full text versus catalog records - downloading and working with PDFs - creating and finding collections The presentation will also provide foundational skills for using HathiTrust's analytical tools.
