We are pleased to invite everyone to the GWIS (Graduate Women in Science) September Distinguished Speaker Luncheon: "Using Social Media to Excel as a Scientist".

We will be joined by Dr. Kiana Frank (Assistant Research Professor, PBRC), Dr. Piper Harron (Temporary Assistant Professor, Dept. of Math), and Sam Mitchell (4th-year SOEST Ph.D. student, Dept. of Geology & Geophysics) who will discuss their approaches to social media via YouTube, blogging, Instagram, and beyond.

A catered lunch will be provided to the first 25 attendees who reserve their spots, so RSVP today! Please send all questions or comments regarding dietary restrictions to hawaii@gwis.org. All are welcome to join and bring their own "brown bag" lunch.

The Fall 2018 GWIS Distinguished Luncheon Series was made possible by generous support from the UH Manoa Student Activity Program Fee Board (SAPFB).
