Student Talk Story Town Hall: Research

November 13, 5:30pm - 7:00pm
Mānoa Campus, iLab (Building 37) Add to Calendar

Learn more about undergraduate and graduate research at UH!

Talk Story Town Hall is a series of events organized by your student governing bodies - the Associated Students of the University of Hawaii (ASUH) and Graduate Student Organization (GSO) - to provide a space where students can learn and be heard. Each Town Hall centers around a theme that both UH administrators and students are thinking about, and brings these groups together to talk story about that theme.

The debut Town Hall is about research. What opportunities are there for students to do their own research? What are the policies? What are some things to think about when designing a research project?

Come to hear the latest from administrators and get your questions answered!

Featured speakers:

Michael Bruno, Vice Chancellor for Research & Interim Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs
Vernadette V. Gonzalez, Chair of the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program & Honors Program Director
Kristin Bacon, IRB Coordinator
Punihei Lipe, Native Hawaiian Affairs Program Officer.

Refreshments will be served. Mixer with the panel speakers after! THIS IS FREE FOR UNDERGRADUATES AND GRADUATE STUDENTS. Please RSVP for this event through the provided web address link.
