Is the Classroom a Space or a Tool? Disrupting Expectations about Educational Space
Presented by:
David Stubbs, Founder/President/CEO
Cultural-Shift Educational Consultants
This presentation will continue the conversation UH MÄnoa began with David Stubbs in Fall 2016. David has recently been intently analyzing the dysfunctional aspects of transforming educational space in ways that push boundaries and modify expectations as they relate to all aspects of space. By putting imagination in service to re-envisioning a future that is already residing in the belly of our present, we can move forward to:
- Distinguish the right set of tools & their usefulness within space
- Develop the ability to ask the "why" question rather than rushing to the "how"
- Bridge the chasm between curriculum & facilities
11:30-12:30 workshop
12:30-1:00 Q&A and Lunch
