Hurricane Preparedness

Hurricane Season is from June through November. Are you prepared for this season? Hurricane Preparedness training is an informational session presented by UHM’s Department of Public Safety Office of Emergency Management. The training will cover various warnings and watches used by the National Weather Service and the UHM’s Emergency Plan which includes communication to the campus community. The focus of the session is to educate attendees on how to better prepare buildings/departments and residences for this type of event.

Please ensure that you receive authorization from your supervisor prior to registering for the session. If you are unable to attend a training session you have signed up for, please notify MÄnoa Human Resources as soon as possible so that we may offer your seat to someone else.
