Born and raised on Lana‘i, Donavan Kealoha is a serial entrepreneur, investor and community organizer. He is the co-founder of two companies—a venture-backed materials science company and a software development consulting firm. He currently serves as Senior Associate at Startup Capital Ventures.

He is also co-founder of The Purple Mai’a Foundation, a nonprofit focused on providing technology education for underserved youth. Just last week, he and his team were named Social Impact Entrepreneurs of the Year by the Hawaii Venture Capital Association.
