The UN and Human Rights in Asia

Dr. Changrok Soh, a prominent scholar, activist, and educator specializing in human rights, human security, and international relations, will deliver a presentation titled “The UN and the Regional Human Rights Mechanism in Asia.†Soh is a member of the United Nations Human Rights Council Advisory Committee and a professor in the Graduate School of International Studies at Korea University. He is working toward the establishment of a system for the promotion and protection of human rights in Asia. Soh received his Ph.D. from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University and is currently serving as president of Human Asia.
