Dr. Gérard Duhaime is a Professor of Sociology at Université Laval (Canada) and chairholder of the Canada Research Chair on Comparative Aboriginal Condition. He is the First Fulbright Canada Visiting Research Chair at the College of Social Sciences at the University of Hawai’i at MÄnoa. Dr. Duhaime will share his research into complex inequities among Arctic peoples as reflected in socio-economic indicators bearing on demography, health and the economy.
