New season of the Russian Club starts on Jan., 11, and we continue celebrating winter holidays. Today you will get to know more about New Year’s and Russian Christmas’ celebrations. Russian Christmas (Rozhdestvo Khristovo) is celebrated on January, 7 and marks the birthday of Jesus Christ. We will watch a Russian cartoon related to New Year, sing a song about a little fir, and try traditional Russian dishes.
Please join us on Wed, Jan., 11 at 3:30 pm, 252 Moore Hall. All levels of Russian are welcome (including those who don't speak Russian at all)! There will be sweets, tea and extra credit.
