Exhibition: Phantasm by Chiho Ushio
September 18, 2016 - October 7, 2016Mānoa Campus, John Young Museum of Art, Krauss Hall

Chiho Ushio presents "Phantasm," an exhibition of her new work.
Artist’s Statement: "Phantasm" exhibits artwork that draws inspiration from natural phenomena, such as water, in that visible and tangible substances can evoke contemplation on invisible realities. Just as the reflective qualities of water can cause one to view one’s own reflection while gazing into and through it, my artwork encourages one to reflect on oneself in and through the art pieces.
