U.S. Premiere of The Great Tsunami in Japan: Reflecting on the 2011 Disaster

On March 11, 2011, a disastrous tsunami devastated parts of Japan. Survival for many was the result of a series of coincidences – whether a few seconds or a few centimeters. "The Great Tsunami" is a poignant documentary exploring these personal stories, and the humble but resolute spirit of those who inhabit this disaster-prone region of Japan.

Doors open at 1 p.m. Film begins at 1:30 p.m. with introduction by documentary producer Michihiro Chikata.
