Join the University of Hawaiʻi Public Policy Center and The Civil Beat Law Center for the Public Interest for a timely panel discussion about tools and practices that have successfully supported government transparency initiatives worldwide. As this colorful election season has made clear, modern communication tools are transforming the workings of democracy. This panel will probe beyond the headlines to explore best practices and new initiatives to enhance public engagement in government, improve transparency and accountability, and improve democratic policymaking in Hawai‘i.
