Ruby Marcelo, is a Foreign Service Officer serving in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico on her first assignment as a Vice Consul. Originally born in Hawaii, her parents migrated in the 1970s from the Philippines. She is very proud to continue her family’s service to the U.S. by joining the State Department in January of 2013. Come learn more about her story and work in the U.S. Department of State!
