Join our elite garden guides group at Lyon, and help share your Aloha with garden visitors. Learn about the Arboretum and its collections, history and mission. This series of 5 classes is for those committed to becoming a garden guide at Lyon Arboretum. Classes will include both indoor and outdoor sessions. Classes cover plant conservation, Hawaiian natural history, Hawaiian ethnobotany, and the Arboretum’s special gardens and collections. All participants will be expected to guide garden tours at the Lyon Arboretum after completion of the classes.
5 weeks: Wed. Oct 7, 14, 21, 28 and Nov. 4
$35 class fee.
