Bollywood Afternoons: 'A Wednesday!' (2008)

'A Wednesday' is a taut thriller set in the teeming metropolis of Mumbai. A police commissioner (Anupam Kher), about to retire, recounts his most harrowing case. It involves what happened during four tense hours one ordinary Wednesday after a shadowy man (Naseeruddin Shah) informs the police that he has planted bombs around the city, and demands the release of four jailed militants.
This is the second movie in the 14th UH Bollywood film series, running on occasional Tuesdays and Thursday afternoons this fall. For a copy of the full semester film series schedule, please see the contact information below.
