The Visiting Professor Program in Obesity brings to Hawaii Dr. Shingo Kajimura, UCSF Diabetes Center Professor and recipient of the Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers, given by the White House. The mini-symposium includes a poster session, a keynote presentation by Dr. Kajimura and a series of short talks on obesity given by distinguished researchers from Hawaii.
The Visiting Professor Program in Obesity is supported by an educational grant from the Endocrine Society and Eisai, Inc.
