The film charts the rise of Hong Kong teenage democracy activists JoshuaWong and Ma Wan Ke, leading figures in the Umbrella Movement that occurred recently in Hong Kong. Joshua Wong was recently featured on the cover of Time magazine and is currently third in Time’s person of the year poll.

In the past year the film has been shown at Yale and Duke universities, as well as the New America think tank. It premiered at last year’s Hong Kong International Film Festival and played in Hong Kong cinemas through out the summer of 2014.

The screening will be followed with a talk by the film’s director, Matthew Torne.
