The story on the reverse of this handbill tells of a selfish and ungrateful son who refused to give corn to his ailing parents. In weakness and hunger, his parents departed on the long journey to the shrine of the Lord of the Hospital where they miraculously were healed. When the son went to his granary he found that all his corn had become worms. The handbill admonishes children to help their parents and then reap God's rewards.
