Na'au Checks: a Kukakuka group

October 16, 4:00pm - 5:30pm
Mānoa Campus, Queen Lili'uokalani Center #412

This session will be highlighting tmt on Mauna Kea. The Thirty Meter Telescope (tmt) is a proposed extremely large, segmented mirror telescope, planned for the summit of Mauna Kea. Mauna Kea is a sacred place for many Hawaiians. A piko, with a strong connection to their ancestors. Mauna Kea plays a pivotal part in Hawaiian spiritual beliefs. Now we have the space to discuss how you are processing this current event and all that has come from it.

Come talk story, get creative, have something to eat and drink... This is a safe space for those who want to debrief, share, vent or just be a part of the collective. #LaHui #KuKiaiMauna (Kukakuka, Arts&Crafts, Fidgets, Refreshments)
