Grants

The University of Hawaii’s Women’s Campus Club is accepting grant applications for 2023–2024. Proceeds from the WCC Thrift Shop sales are awarded each year to grant applicants at all UH campuses. The deadline for applications is November 30, 2023.    Overview & application: https://www.hawaii.edu/wcc/wcc-grant-form-ver-1/ (https://www.hawaii.edu/wcc/wcc-grant-form-2-pg-2/) Previous recipients: https://www.hawaii.edu/wcc/grant-recipients/ Please let your department, its programs, organizations, and clubs know about this opportunity.

Priority is given to projects that benefit a large number of students, enhance the university community environment on any UH campus, and to units that have not received major grants from the Women’s Campus Club in recent years. Proposals and requests should be concise, not more than two or three pages, stating clear goals and specific information on who will benefit from the grant. Include a realistic line item budget. Attach a quotation for any purchase. Also, indicate if there are other sources of funding. Salaries or wages, honoraria, entertainment, research scholarships, food, apparel, and travel will not be funded.

Since grants are awarded on an annual basis and no funds are held in reserve, supplementary requests cannot be funded. Funded grants for 2023-2024 will be announced and funds will be released in early 2024. An average grant award is up to $4,000.

All applications must be received by November 30, 2023. Please fill out the Grant Application form online. Or mail (4)copies of your proposal form to: The Women’s Campus Club PO Box 62104 Honolulu, HI 96839
