UH Manoa – Dept. of Second Language Studies, Center for Language & Technology, Department of East Asian Languages & Literature – $2,691 – Grant to acquire headsets (2), plus a Dell CPU, and Monitor for testing a virtual reality game designed to immerse international and domestic students in a rich multilingual/multimodal environment to investigate the effectiveness of the Virtual Reality experience for language learning, cross-cultural friendship, community building.
