UH President David Lassner created an Ad Hoc committee to provide support for our undocumented students.  The goals of this committee were to: pull together resources to support students;  provide faculty and staff information about how they could support these students, as well as provide training for them to become certified as “allies” to undocumented students; and to create a structure to monitor federal policies and directions regarding undocumented students.  The committee included Eréndira Aldana (UHM-Psychology, graduate student), Clem Bautista (UHM-Multicultural Student Services), Paul Chandler (UHM, Spanish faculty), Brenda Ivelisse (KCC-former VC for Students), Monique Mironesco (UHWO-Political Science faculty), Hae Okimoto (UH System-Associate VP for Student Affairs), and Susan Serrano (UHM-Law School faculty).  The result is this website.  Anyone wishing to provide support or to provide information are welcome to contact us at undocstu@hawaii.edu.
