Earlier this month, PhD student Ha Nguyen received the CALL Uehiro Dissertation Fellowship. Her dissertation research is on the engagement of international students with Hawaiian language and culture specifically how international students experience the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa as a campus striving to become a Hawaiian Place of Learning.
