The MA in SLS typically takes four semesters, assuming a full-time load (9 credits) for all four semesters. Part-time students or students with Graduate Assistantships (whose full-time load is 6 credits) may take longer.
Summer courses are available, both through SLS and other related departments, at resident tuition for all students. Students with full Graduate Assistantship support (0.50 FTE) for two consecutive semesters can take summer courses for fees only.
