Ph.D. Student Jieun Kim Starts ACTFL Summer Internship

Ph.D. Student Jieun Kim starts a Summer internship with ACTFL; the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages.

Interns work with ACTFL staff members on special projects in various ACTFL departments, and enhance their resume while they learn valuable new skills.

ACTFL’s mission is to provide vision, leadership and support for quality teaching and learning of languages. The Internship and Scholars Program is designed as a pathway to the profession; its goal is to help recipients:

  1. Explore the field
  2. Develop professional and academic skills
  3. Accumulate experiences that will serve as the foundation for future leadership roles
