This practicum course is designed for graduate assistants assigned to the Center for Academic Spoken English. The course will focus on teaching principles relevant to key academic speaking topics, including pronunciation, giving an oral presentation, completing a job interview, etc. Course content will include both pedagogical and administration discussions relevant to the center.
