I. Purpose

To set forth policy on early admissions.

II. Definitions

No policy specific or unique definitions apply.

III. Board of Regents Policy

    A. Board shall offer the widest opportunity for Hawai‘i’s citizens, and especially its young people, to participate in the collegiate and postsecondary education offered within the university. In this policy, the board emphasizes the commitment to provide educational opportunity for youth under 18 years of age who may be continuing high school students as well as to youth who have left high school without graduating.

    B. It is delegated to the chancellors of each campus, in consultation with campus administrators and faculty, to develop early admission policies.
