The Department of Philosophy invites entries from undergraduate students for an essay competition.
The recipient of this award will win an all-expenses paid trip along with an additional stipend to present their work at the SUNY Oneonta Undergraduate Philosophy Conference on April 17-18, 2026.

This Prize is funded by Roger and Bonnie Ames in memory of David L. Hall of the University of Texas, El Paso, who died early in 2001.
