  2. HR Rep indicates position’s placement on the official org chart

Your HR Rep will:

Review Position Description to ensure classification is appropriate to the duties and responsibilities of the Position Description

Request Civil Service Position in PS 9.2

  1. Get authorization from Dean/Director to establish position
  2. Confirm budget availability with Fiscal Administrator
  3. Contact your HR representative/ Fiscal Administrator for general guidance
  4. Upload Position Description and input Civil Service Position Request in PS 9.2 Position Management
  5. Refer to the Civil Service Position Justifications in the Civil Service Position Description Guide

Your HR Rep will:

  1. Review Position Management request
  2. Notify you if there are any questions
  3. Approve Position Request and submit through PS 9.2 Workflow

Receive Notification

You will be notified through PS 9.2 Workflow on the approved classification
