About Us

The University of Hawaiʻi’s System Office of Human Resources (OHR) provides human resource management and administration for academic and non-academic employees including faculty, staff and administrators of the University of Hawaiʻi system. As the university’s human resource team, we strive to provide superior service to our most important asset, our people, and to anticipate, develop and fulfill the human resource needs of our accomplished employees.

The System OHR website is designed to provide faculty and staff, applicants for future employment, and campus HR professionals with information regarding benefits, job opportunities and HR related policies and procedures.

Together with the HR teams across the university’s system offices and 10 campuses, the System OHR provides leadership and services in areas including but not limited to human resource policies and procedures, benefits administration, employee relations, classification and compensation, recruitment and selection, collective bargaining, information system support and professional development.
