Child Care Connections Hawaiʻi (CCCH)

CCCH helps low-income families to sustain their employment, educational efforts and job training by paying a subsidy for their children who are in the care of DHS approved child care providers. Child care subsidy is for children under 13 years, or between 13 to 18 years if the child cannot do self-care and resides with their parent(s) or caretakers.

Preschool Open Doors (POD)

Promotes school readiness by providing childcare subsidies to eligible families for the year prior to kindergarten. Eligible for children born between August 1, 2015 and July 31, 2016. Depending on your child’s preschool start date, POD assistance may cover enrollment from July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021. Application period closes 04/30/20. Completed applications can be submitted by mail/fax/email.  The application is available online.
