Description:A curious combination of fictionalized dramatic film and documentary which divides distinctly into two parts: the first a recreation of the Bounty mutiny, and the second an account of contemporary life on Pitcairn Island, where the mutineers' descendants still live. The film was made before the Hollywood versions of the Bounty story and gave Errol Flynn his first film role, as Fletcher Christian.
