| Description: | Das baufŠllig gewordene sakrale MŠnnerhaus wird innerhalb eines Tages mit bereitgehaltenem Baumaterial durch eine Neukonstruktion ersetzt. Etwa 50 einheimische MŠnner und Jungen sowie GŠste aus anderen Dšrfern nehmen an dem Bau des Rundhauses mit Kegeldach teil. Die Arbeit wird von zeremoniellen Handlungen begleitet.Building materials, poles and planks, are partly of sacral character. They are set up at a rhythmical run, producing a state of ecstasy. Food is distributed to the workers. The new house is covered with the old roof. Finally, the sacred digging-stick is placed in the new men's house. Small spirit houses are also constructed. |
