UH women’s water polo team claimed two of the Big West’s top individual awards, and seven Rainbow Wahine players received all-conference recognition.
With the victory, the Rainbow Wahine claimed the Big West’s automatic bid to the NCAA National Collegiate Women’s Water Polo Championship.
The team secured the program’s 6th Big West regular-season title.
Jordan Wedderburn led the team to the No. 3 spot in the Collegiate Water Polo Association Women’s Varsity Top 25.
UH’s three selections lead the way among the 17 teams in the nation on the list.
James Robinson will succeed Maureen Cole, who announced in November 2023 that she will retire from coaching following the current season.
