Indie rock bands, life’s struggles headline published memoirs

Valdeane Odachi and Adrienne Robillard published snippets of their life stories in micro-memoir collection Haliʻa Aloha.

The five honorees are Nani Cockett, Bobby Curran, David Matlin, Barbara “Bobbie” Perry and Katie Spieler.
