UH law school’s programs rank among top in nation

The William S. Richardson School of Law was recognized for its online program, practical training and environmental law specialization.

Hawaiʻi is one of only eight states to have outperformed the national average.

Richardson ranked as No. 9 in the nation for best schools for Asian students and No. 26 for Hispanic students.

UH Mānoa ranked No. 78 in the U.S. and No. 445 in the world, among more than 25,000 colleges and universities.

In total, 14 subjects placed in the world's top 1%.

The top 500 universities were selected out of the approximately 2,640 four-year institutions in the U.S.

UH Mānoa placed in the No. 201–250 tier worldwide out of more than 25,000 colleges and universities in the world.

UH Mānoa, UH Hilo and UH West Oʻahu were among the top 1,500 four-year institutions ranked.

The ranking measured economic diversity by analyzing the share of students receiving Pell Grants.

UH Mānoa ranked highest in diversity, learning facilities and learning opportunities.
