Students and faculty at UHWest Oʻahu and the UH Mānoa John A. Burns School of Medicine (JABSOM) met U.S. Surgeon General Jerome Adams during his recent visit to the state.
New doctors are in their first weeks on the job at medical centers throughout Hawaiʻi through a partnership between local hospitals and the University of Hawaiʻi that began nearly 50 years ago.
To help address the growing physician shortage in Hawaiʻi, Kaiser Permanente has become a full teaching partner with the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa John A. Burns School of Medicine
