Indigenous innovation, health equity initiative marks first-year milestones

Kamuela Enos gave an update on the Center for Indigenous Innovation and Health Equity to the Board of Regents on October 6.

A sub-award of at least $10 million is going to the UH Mānoa College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources.

The partnership will be managed by the UH Office of the Vice President for Research and Innovation.

UH joins seven other universities to form the Desert and Pacific region NSF I-Corps Hub.

Students are working on issues related to helicopter safety and consolidated training for airmen.

In FY 2021, UH was among the top 50 institutions receiving the most funding from NSF.
