The search for Windward CC’s new chancellor has begun and the expected start date is in January 2019.
Witt/Kieffer, a professional search firm, has been selected to assist in the search for the next UH Hilo chancellor.
The new dean will be expected to lead the faculty and staff in working closely with state and federal stakeholders to achieve growth in the college's education, research and service activities.
The search for the next UH Hilo chancellor is now expected to be completed by the end of 2018, with the new leader in place in spring 2019.

The three finalists—Jonathan Osorio, Jon Matsuoka and Katrina-Ann “Kapā” Oliveira—are scheduled to participate in UH Mānoa campus visits.
The position was announced locally and nationally on January 5, 2018, and the expected start date is July 2018.
