UH Mānoa posted its largest increase in enrollment since 2003 in the fall 2021 semester with 19,098 students enrolled.
The fall 2021 systemwide headcount credit enrollment of 49,773 students is a 0.4% increase compared to fall 2020.

Updates also included encouraging enrollment numbers for the fall 2021 semester, and remembering two renowned UH professors who recently died, Haunani-Kay Trask and Barbara Smith.
Chun comes to UH Mānoa from the California Institute of Technology where she has been the director of undergraduate admissions since 2019 and senior associate director of admissions from 2015–19.
