UH Foundation hires and staff changes

The University of Hawaiʻi Foundation announces new staff additions and changes for Kimo Kai, Margaret Shiba, Kristi Bates and Kelli Anne Takenaka.

Thomas Osborne is recognized as the Music Teachers National Association Distinguished Composer of the Year.

UH Mānoa’s Roger Ames, Christopher Bae and Aaron Ohta awarded the Regents’ Medal for Excellence in Research.

Peter Arnade and Donald Young have been named deans of Mānoa’s College of Arts and Humanities and College of Education, respectively.

Four candidates will visit the Mānoa campus during March for meetings and public presentations.

Costume contests, entertainment and bake sale will be featured at the annual band fundraiser.

Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Oklahoma opens November 4 at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa.
