UH Bookstores provide free books to 15-to-Finish winners

Winners were randomly selected from a pool of more than a thousand eligible students across the university system.

Eighteen UH students from across the state will receive their textbooks for free this semester as part of the 15 to Finish UH Bookstores Promotion.

UH is the inaugural recipient of two President’s Awards which were presented at the national nonprofit’s 2016 annual meeting.

The university system is recognized for partnership with Hobsons, use of data analytics and digital tools to improve student success.

Eighteen students from across the UH System won free textbooks in the 15 to Finish UH Bookstores promotion.

As a result of the 15 to Finish campaign’s success, universities in 20 states have also adopted similar initiatives.

UH System awarded 11,278 degrees and certificates in the 2013–14 academic year, a 13 percent increase over the previous year.

Nineteen University of Hawaiʻi students received free textbooks for the fall 2014 semester by participating in 15 to Finish.
